Guitar StandsGuitarists love playing guitars, in fact we love them so much we never want to put them away in a cupboard, where we can't just pick them up any time we want to. We want them in the room, ready and waiting. If they are just propped up against a wall, though, there is always a danger that they will slide down and clatter on the floor, especially where there is a strap button on the bottom, which makes standing it up just too precarious. So, we either put them on a stand on the floor, or we hang them on the wall. There is a wide range of stands and wall hangers available, some of them surprisingly cheap. Don't be fooled by the small size or apparent flimsiness of some of them, they tend to be marvels of engineering, the range of styles and designs is amazing. You are sure to find something which will hold your guitar steady, while not taking up too much room.
