Childrens Electric GuitarsChildrens Electric Guitars are half or three quarter scale versions of full size models, and are easier for children and people with small hands to play. The notes, strings, chords, etc are all the same, so there is no problem with progressing to adult sized models when the time comes. There is quite a range of quality and styles available, including a mini version in the style of the Gibson Les Paul from Washburn, a small Strat from Fender's Squier brand, and a selection from Dean. With any musical instrument, starting young is known to be a good thing, but it is often difficult for the youngster to hold the instrument, and with the guitar, to stretch the fingers far enough to play chords well. These smaller instruments may well be the start of a lifetime of enjoyment.
