The Highlands They Are A-Changin'
There will be a few more American Guitars in the Highlands of Scotland soon, when Bob Dylan moves into his new Highland retreat at Nethybridge near Aviemore.
He is reported to have paid £2.2 million for his mansion, Aultmore, which lies in twenty-five acres of secluded wooded grounds in the shadow of the Cairngorm mountains. He bought it with his brother, David, using his real name, Robert Zimmerman.
It is not known whether there is a big brass bed for his lady to lay, in any of the ten bedrooms, but in the wilds of the Highlands, there will be plenty of winds for the answers to blow in.
The house was used in two episodes of the popular BBC Television series Monarch of the Glen.
